- Let's Dream Big -

In 2017 and 2021, it was the honor of my life to be elected and re-elected to Troy City Council, in the city where I was born, raised, and educated.

I hope you’ll choose me to continue moving Troy forward.

AS YOUR CURRENT COUNCIL MEMBER,

I WILL CONTINUE TO:

SUPPORT OUR POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENTS

Troy is one of the safest cities in the state and that’s due to our hardworking police and fire departments. I voted to increase our police budget to $35 million per year, which has allowed us to hire 10% more sworn officers. I'll work hard to hire more officers and to get the best equipment and facilities for our volunteer firefighters.

GET TROY THE LIBRARY IT WANTS AND DESERVES

Together we opened the library 7 days a week, after a decade of services being underfunded. Now it's time to invest in a new library building that will become the center of lifelong learning for Troy.

INVEST IN PARKS, TRAILS, & GATHERING PLACES

During my two terms, we upgraded our parks and completed multiple stages of our trails and pathways program. I’ll continue to support initiatives that bring our community together, while ensuring your hard-earned tax dollars are spent wisely.

STRENGTHEN OUR FINANCES

We as a Council have worked hard to lock in Troy’s financial strength. As a former member of Troy’s Pension and Retiree Healthcare boards, we’ve made smart, long-term investments, saving the city millions and securing our AAA bond rating. Our day to day financial status is strong, but our long term needs have grown since our last major investment in 1999.

SUPPORT OUR BUSINESS COMMUNITY

Troy is the second largest business-hub in the state, and it provides a third of our property tax revenue. I'll continue to work with Troy's 6000 businesses to keep our status as an economic powerhouse.
